California Privacy Policy

Western Asset, including its affiliated investment advisers (together, Western Asset, “we” or “us”) , consider your privacy our utmost concern. This privacy policy is applicable to users of our website who are residents of the state of California. It is provided to you in order for us to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws. CCPA provides specific rights to those living in California concerning their personal information as described below. Although these rights do not necessarily apply to Western Asset investors who are covered under applicable Federal privacy law or exceptions within CCPA, other California residents may be covered.

Exemptions of CCPA
CCPA provides exemptions for certain business. For example, it does not apply to personal information we collect, process, share or disclose under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act or from our employees, job applicants, and contractors of businesses in the course of our provision or receipt of business-related services.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

Your Rights

Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
  • Right to Nondiscrimination. If you should exercise any your rights under CCPA, you have an additional right not to be discriminated against.
