Investment Objective

Exceed the benchmark by 50-75 basis points annually over the course of a market cycle while targeting a tracking error of 100-150 basis points.

Investment Style

Construct and maintain a diversified portfolio of investment-grade bonds. Value can be added through issuer/issue selection and sector rotation. Western Asset uses various tools, both external and proprietary, to help identify, measure and manage portfolio risk.
